Membership Policy

To apply for membership at Dorchester Trinity Club, prospective members must first secure the support of two current members. These members will act as proposers and seconders for the application. This step is crucial as it ensures that new applicants are introduced and vouched for by existing members who are familiar with the club’s values and community spirit.

Once the application has been proposed and seconded, it will be submitted to the Management Committee for review. The Management Committee convenes regularly to discuss various club matters, including membership applications. During their next scheduled meeting, the committee will carefully evaluate the application, considering factors such as the applicant’s background, their alignment with the club’s ethos, and the recommendations provided by the proposers and seconders.

If the Management Committee approves the application, the new member will be formally welcomed into the club. At this point, the membership card will be issued, granting the new member access to all club facilities and events. The membership card serves as a symbol of belonging and is essential for participating in club activities.

The Dorchester Trinity Club values the integrity and camaraderie of its community, and the membership application process is designed to uphold these principles. By requiring proposals and seconding from current members and a thorough review by the Management Committee, the club ensures that new members are well-integrated into the community and contribute positively to the club’s vibrant atmosphere.
